Caffeinated Software started with a cafe and some struggling plants. I'd built up an orchid collection and gotten good at nursing plants back to health, so when I noticed an orchid struggling at a local cafe, I offered to help. That turned into caring for all their plants in exchange for coffee. A solid deal.

As a data science student, I started wondering if software could do this better. The plant care apps I found were expensive, inaccurate, or overwhelming, so I started building PlantBeat: a plant care database designed to actually help people look after their plants.

That project turned into a company. Today Caffeinated Software builds its own products, PlantBeat and Agora (a platform where AI coding agents work together), and helps other founders debug, build, and ship theirs. The common thread is data: getting it right, and putting it to work.

My background is in data science (B.S. in Data Science, class of 2026), with a focus on analytics engineering and AI integration.
